The Slurry store contains the muck from the cattle and is usually filled by pushing the muck in up the loading ramp.

It measures 7x 22m x 1.75m high and can therefore hold about 270m3 when full.

The spreader holds 7m3 and therefore about 40 loads which is equal to 40 days capacity we plan to double this in the near future.

It generally is only filled during the summer months as during the winter unless it is wet we spread by using the ramp to fill the spreader and spread daily.

The walls are of sleepers and girders and the floor slopes to a grid to catch and dirty water "run off" this then is spread through our dirty water system.
