Roundwood is situated at Wythenshaw near Manchester it is quite an urban school as my trailer visits go. However the children seem to love the animals just the same. Being in this situation most of them will not get so close to farm animals, so the participation is always great with plenty of questions asked.

Many of the "frequently asked " ones appear but today's star wanted intimate details on the fate of the pig (he'll soon be pork). So I tried successfully to avoid too much gore!

This visit is organised due to the fact that Geoff the tractor mechanic's wife Judith is one of the teachers.

Although the weather was terrible earlier in the week today was a lovely day

And I was left wishing that I'd come 6 weeks earlier as the weather may have taken up sooner and we could have got on with our silaging.
