The Key Field is situated at the rear of the farm buildings.

It is the main access for all the farms grazing fields.

In 1992 we constructed a cattle drive (right) on one side which runs the full length of the field.

On completion it was fenced off from the field and the field itself was split into 4 grazing paddocks.

Within the Countryside Stewardship Scheme we have renovated and enlarged the existing pond and we are in the process of planting a hedge for the full length of the drive.

The hedge is also planted with Ash saplings at 30 meter intervals

The pond is now in its 4th year, it has become home to a pair of Moorhens and is regulary visited by Mallard ducks and Herons.
