This is the furthest field from the farmyard at 2 km away as the cow walks:-)

It is used mainly for grazing during the summer and autumn but is cut for silage in the spring.

 

Because there is little activity other than fertilizer sowing it is a haven for our rabbit population and is also a night time hunting ground for Barn Owls and Foxes, by day it is often patrolled by the Buzzard (left)
