This production was written by one of the players their own Simon Jones.

Called “Local Talent” it centred around the backstage antics of a local amateur dramatic group.

Typical characters for such groups were Polly the still thinks she is 21 type, Carol the actually 21, Tom the harassed stage director manager (played by Paul) Trevor the caretaker/bit part actor, Steve the young ladies man, Angela the tea lady (vital to any production) and Vanessa the wardrobe mistress and the only one with real talent (played by Margot).

Simon has just (finally) had the nerve to have one of his plays actually performed and I think this SHOULD be the first of many.
